Petit-déjeuner parisien

The first steep smells like buttered croissants and old books—I wasn't ready for how cozy that is. I've been brewing it every morning with milk and it holds its strength through two refills without turning bitter. This is my new wake-up ritual.

The dry-leaf aroma alone is worth it — it genuinely smells like a breezy Parisian morning, and the way it steeps into a smooth, comforting cup feels almost ceremonial. I’ve already gone through half the tin in a week, which says everything about how often I reach for it.

The dry leaves have a gentle, almost pastry-like sweetness that carries through to the second cup, not just the first. I do wish the sachets were a touch larger for my mug, but it's a lovely everyday treat that feels a bit special.
